I love this book. So many familiar moments during the fifties chapters. I haven’t enjoyed a book this much for a long time. Secrets are something I understand being a kid in trouble during the late fifties and early sixties. Now 74,there are things I’ve never shared with my family.

Thank you for this wonderful and thought provoking book. The characters were well fleshed out and they came through as very real people. Looking forward to another book from you. By the way, my Brands live in Georgia too!

Thank you so much for your kind words! It’s great that the book resonated with you–and more than anything, I love that you found the characters to be like real people. Thank you again!

Enjoyed this book very much, and I’m not a book reader. I only joined this book group to force myself to read books during the pandemic. Mom, (RIP 2/7/2020), would be so proud as she was all about books and reading since she was a child.
I believe Mom would have enjoyed your book in her younger, librarian enriched years, and wish we could have shared this book and how these relationships went through time.
Our book group meets today and they know I’m a slow reader as I read every word. Finished your book a couple days ago so looking forward to the input of the avid readers.

Anne, what kind words to say! I’m honored that my novel resonated with you and that your book club picked it for this month’s discussion. I hope they love the book too. My heartfelt condolences on losing your mother this year. I hope that future book club selections provide ways of feeling closer to her even in her absence. Thank you so much for reaching out! Tori
